Game Maker Academy

July 11, 2007

Brian Myers of the Wilmette Public Library led an extremely successful Game Maker Academy here at PRPL over the last four weeks.

Students left the class with 2 complete games:  a “shooter” game similar to Asteroids, and a platform game a la the original Super Mario.

If you’re interested in creating your own games, check on the site yoyogames.com or the book Game Maker’s Apprentice.

And stay tuned for more Game Maker classes at the Library!game-maker-4.jpg   game-maker-2.jpg
